My Annie (miniature dachshund) doesn't mind going here at all. She walks right up to and through the door. Colleen and the staff take spectacular care of her while I am at work. I am so thrilled I found this kennel for her. I know she is safe and loved. I highly recommend Hound's Hideaway!

Very good boarding care for our cat. And the 'hostess' cat Nellie is about the cutest cat ever.

The owner was absolutely amazing and the kennels were clean and well taken care of. Each cat had his own private space and a little balcony to go outside. It was perfect for our vacation in Montana.

My cat has visited twice now for 1 week visits. She comes back happy every time! Would love to see them add a cat room camera.

My dog Roxy seemed to be in great spirits, and not stressed out when we picked her up from a 10 day stay, friendly staff and reasonable rates. Thank you Coleen!

Colleen was awesome with my dogs and took really great care of my puppy on her first time away from home. They came back happy and squeaky clean! Thanks
Boarding is easier on a dog when the routine stays steady and the people watching over him know dogs. That is the whole job here.

Dogs of every size and age in our kennels and play yard, settled in and heading home happy.

Most dogs settle into boarding within a day or two, even on a first stay. A little restlessness or a light appetite the first night is normal, and a steady routine of meals and play yard time brings most dogs around quickly. Tell us about any quirks at drop-off and we will work with them. Before the stay, dogs need current Bordetella (kennel cough), distemper/parvo, and rabies vaccines, given at least 7 days before drop-off.
Every dog gets one-on-one play yard time 4 to 6 times a day, depending on weather and energy level. Between outings your dog rests on a raised bed with blankets, music on the radio, and meals on whatever schedule you set. Medications are given on time at no extra charge.
Dog boarding is $32 per night for each dog. Pick-up before noon is free of charge for that day, stays of 30 nights or more earn a 10% discount, and qualifying senior citizens save 10% as well. A 4% service fee applies to credit and debit card payments.
Only if you prefer it. We supply Diamond Naturals adult food at no charge, and plenty of dogs do fine on it. A sudden diet change can upset some stomachs though, so many owners bring their dog's regular food in a labeled container and we feed it on the usual schedule.
Anywhere from one night to a month or more, and long and short-term boarding are both normal here. For an extended stay we keep the same routine every day: the same meal times, the same one-on-one play yard trips, and the same kennel. That consistency is what dogs miss most away from home.
Dogs come to us from across the Flathead Valley. That includes Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Coram, Evergreen, Hungry Horse, Kalispell, Kila, Lakeside, Marion, Somers, West Glacier, and Whitefish. Everything happens at our one Kalispell location on US Highway 93 South, where we also board cats in a separate quiet building and offer baths with nail trims for dogs.
We board dogs year-round for families across Kalispell and the surrounding Flathead Valley communities.
Tell us your travel dates and your dog's routine and we will get a kennel reserved.
